On May 3, 2000, the TCEQ adopted a revision to the Texas State Implementation Plan (SIP) as it relates to Transportation Control Measures. This page provides information on this revision to the SIP.

EPA Approval Date: 11/14/2001 (66 FR 57195

Key Changes: This revision to the SIP:

  • requires TCM project-specific descriptions and estimated emissions reductions to be included in the SIP and
  • allows metropolitan planning organizations in nonattainment areas to substitute TCMs without a SIP revision if the substitution results in equal or greater emission reductions.
